Before our arrival, all fixtures that would prevent the tile or tub from being refinished should be removed, including pedestal sinks, toilets, vanities, cabinets, and other similar items. Less surface dust will accumulate on the freshly refinished surface in an environment that is clean.
Q: What makes bathtub reglazing different from bathtub refinishing?
A: No. The process of applying a fresh finish to a hard surface is referred to as bathtub refinishing, bathtub reglazing, tile refinishing, or tile reglazing. This is not the same as applying brand-new porcelain, it should be noted. You require kilns to bake porcelain (oven).

Maintenance & Care of a bathtub, a sink, and tilework
- The surface must dry for 24 hours once the treatment is finished.
- After 24 hours, you must exercise caution while removing any paper or masking tape.
- The installation of all hardware, including handles, faucets, drains, and other parts, must be done again within 24 hours.
- Suction-cup bath mats should never be used for any reason! Any suction cup has the potential to damage the surface.
- Never use anything abrasive when cleaning. Only use the cleanser once, then completely trash it. Use only non-bleach cleaning supplies.
- Shampoo, soap, shaving cream, bath oil, and other items shouldn’t be kept on the tub’s edge. The chemical composition of these substances may eventually cause harm to the finish.
- Fixing leaky faucets needs to happen right away. Around drains, dripping water results in early wear and rust formation.
- To protect the completed surface, carefully pour the liquid drain cleaner into the drain while being careful not to spill any of it.
- If you clean the area and utilize it normally for three to four weeks, the majority of the surface dust will go. Avoid using your fingertips to clear surface dust.
